Timothy Arthur Mouser, 64, of Gladesville, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, in his residence, with family by his side. He was born October 21, 1960, in Kingwood, a son of Arthur Ray Mouser of Independence, and the late Anna Marie Giuliani Mouser (2023).
Timothy graduated from West Preston High School, Class of 1978.
He retired with 42 years of service from First Energy at Fort Martin Power Station as an outage coordinator.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed coaching basketball, farming, gardening and canning.
Timothy was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Melissa “Missy” Kaye Knotts Mouser, whom he married June 8, 1985; four children, Logan Mouser of Gladesville, Brooke Spring (Steven) of Independence, Miranda Mouser of Gladesville, Lakin Mouser (Morgan) of Gladesville; six grandchildren, Riley, Colt, Stella, Archer, Gatlin and Charlotte; four siblings, Cynthia McCloud (Patrick) of Newburg, Michelle Harward (Don) of Grafton, Thomas Mouser (Michelle) of Valley Furnace, Maria Shriver (Dave) of Grafton; one brother-in-law, Bernie Knotts (Julie) of Hoover, Ala.; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Anna, Timothy was preceded in death by his mother- and father-in- law, Bernard “Bill” and Mary Kathryn Burgoyne Knotts; his paternal grandparents, John Arthur and Pearl Genevieve Sharps Mouser; and maternal grandparents, Toney and Freda June Wolfe Giuliani.
Family and friends will be received in Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Avenue, Newburg, from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and again Friday, March 21, from 9 until the time of service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jim Carder officiating. Interment will follow at the Gladesville Cemetery.
