Judith Ann Justus

Judith Ann “Judy” Justus, 84, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Friday, January 31, 2025, in Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown.
Born September 26, 1940, to the late Agnes St. Clair, Judy grew up in a lively household that was further brightened by her sisters, Elaine Blosser and Geraldine Scire, who preceded her in death. She was also joined in close kinship by her sisters, Charlotte Long and Josephine Goldring, with whom she shared countless joyful moments.
Judy found a partner for life in Robert “Bob” Justus, and together they navigated the journey of life until his passing.
Judy’s tender heart was matched by her unwavering commitment to her sons, Robert James II (Christina), Ryan Franklin, and Randall Lynn Justus (Carrie), who were her pride and life’s great work.
She was the revered matriarch to her adoring grandchildren, Bryceon, Tory, Sandra, and Lilly Justus; and her greatest joy was in the role of a grandmother—a role she embraced with every fiber of her being.
A devoted professional, Judy served the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as an administrative assistant for over three decades.
She was a life member of the Sweet Adelines, harmonizing both her passion for music and her community spirit.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Judy ardently supported the West Virginia University sports teams and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She could often be found cheering with vibrant energy in the stands or at the local Suburban Lanes bowling league. Her love for sports was only paralleled by her love for her family.
Family and friends may gather in McCulla Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, and again Wednesday, February 5, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service, with Pastor Amber Baker officiating. Following the service, Judy will be laid to rest at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
