Debra Goodwin Brock, 70, of Morgantown, went home to be with her Lord Friday, January 31, 2025. Debra was born October 21, 1954, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Goodwin.
Debra was a graduate of University High School.
She worked for West Virginia University’s Bursar’s office for 34 years before retiring in June 2017.
Debra loved to read, quilt and do embroidery. She also enjoyed travelling and camping at their campsite in Romney.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Brock, Jr., of 50 years; two sons, Kenneth (Sherry) Brock, and Robert (Lisa) Brock; her grandchildren, Renee (Chris) McFarland, Mackenzie (Matthew) Sanders, and Lane Brock; and great- grandchildren, Waylon McFarland, Wyatt McFarland, and Berkeley Sanders. Also surviving are sisters, Sharon (Trubie) Turner, Miriam (Matt) Mcintosh, Pam (Kevin) Poe; her sister-in-law, Kaye Pompili; brothers-in-law, John Lofink and Clinton Arbaugh; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Lofink, Sheila Arbaugh; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Willa Brock.
Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 3, and again Tuesday, February 4, from 10 until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Following the service, Debra will be laid to rest at Arnettsville Cemetery.
