Robert Allen Moore

Robert “Bob” Allen Moore, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, in Ruby Memorial Hospital. Bob was born October 3, 1949, a son of the late Lester and Helen Moore.
For the past 10 years, Bob worked as a traffic control officer in Morgantown for Mon County Schools. Prior to working as a traffic control officer, he worked as a supervisor for the Ohio Department of Transportation in Columbiana County, Ohio for over 30 years. He also served as a police officer and volunteer firefighter for the city of Lisbon, Ohio. He could also be found working on the Csonka brother’s family farm.
Bob enjoyed Brace Beagling having raised a field champion beagle, Short Time Sierra. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with the Southern Cruisers. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan having traveled with his best friend, Joe Csonka, to watch Joe’s brother, Larry, play football.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Robin Moore; daughter, Jennifer Hoard (Jay Goeres); sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Lemine (John Cavalier); nephews, Jason Lemine, and Brett Lemine (Rose Brown); and great-nephew, Logan Lemine.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Moore.
Cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home / Omega Crematory.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3346 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505.
