Mark Eugene Groves, 63, of Morgantown, passed away at Mon Health Medical Center on August 3, 2024.
Born on Oct. 8, 1960, in Preston County, Mark lived a life marked by kindness, gentleness and love.
A skilled electrician, Mark dedicated his professional life to his craft, earning the respect and friendship of many in his field. He is remembered as a beloved husband, son, father and friend.
Mark is survived by his wife, Kate Bishoff Groves; his mother, Shirley Ann Feathers Groves; children, Melisa Hernandez and Christopher Riley; parents-in-law, Dean and Marlene Bishoff; his best friend, Glen; and five adoring grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Paul Eugene Groves.
In every aspect of life, Mark was the epitome of a gentle soul, leaving a legacy of love and warmth that will resonate with all who knew him.
