John B. Rader, 85, of Fairmont and formerly Morgantown, passed away March 6, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in Morgantown, a son of the late J. Burly Rader and Mildred Litman Rader.
John was a retired auditor with the State of West Virginia and an avid Mountaineer sports fan. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Morgantown High School.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, William C. 'Bill" Rader.
Surviving him is a cousin, Melvin Mayfield of McMurray, Pa.
At his request, there will be no public services.
