Intermed Labs marks grand opening of new HQ with ribbon-cutting ceremony

MORGANTOWN -- Intermed Labs -- the Morgantown-based medical technology startup studio -- celebrated the grand opening of its headquarters at the WVU Innovation Corp. building with a Wednesday ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"We are thrilled to officially open the doors of our new location and celebrate this important milestone in the growth of Intermed Labs,” said Dr. Tom McClellan, CEO. "This expansion underscores our commitment to serving the needs of our healthcare partners and advancing healthcare innovation in West Virginia communities and beyond."

Intermed Labs’ new facility has state-of-the-art equipment and modern amenities designed to enhance the company’s capabilities in research, development and production of cutting-edge medical solutions, the company said in a release announcing the ceremony.

Intermed said the new site focuses on fostering collaboration and creativity, and is poised to accelerate its efforts to bring transformative healthcare products to market.

Ceremony guests had the opportunity to tour the new facility, interact with Intermed Labs’ team members, and learn more about the company’s mission, vision and ongoing initiatives.

Ashok Aggarwal, chief strategy officer, said, "Together, we look forward to advancing healthcare innovation and making a positive impact on the lives of patients worldwide."
