Virginia "Jenny" Arlene (Snyder) Dixon, 74, of Kingwood, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Murl and Leola (Savage) Snyder. Her husband, Charles William Dixon survives, they were united in marriage Dec. 31, 1967.

Jenny was a homemaker, she was a great baker, and looked forward to family reunions, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandkids and great-grandkids.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Ike Dixon and Kim, Vince Dixon and Tonya, and Kevin Dixon and Laura; one brother, Ken Snyder; three sisters, Ida Fizer, Margaret Moore, and Helen Fowler; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Zachary, Bailey Grace, Ryder and Kash Dixon, Sable Backus; and six great-grandchildren, Paige Dixon, Dax Dixon, Wyatt Dixon, Ellie Backus, Lilyanne Backus, Magnolia Backus.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, Lenzie, and Donald Snyder; six sisters, Thelma Lambert, Mary Auvil, Betty Dixon, Janet Starcher, Beulah Hughes, and Debra Miller; and one great-granddaughter, Reese Noelle Dixon.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St., Kingwood, from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Thursday, Dec. 28. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
