John Ellsworth Watkins, 70, of the Stewartstown Road community in Morgantown, passed away Friday Nov. 10, 2023, at his residence.
John was born Aug. 18, 1953, in Morgantown to the late Ralph and Beatrice Stafford Watkins.
Survivors include his three siblings, Betty Smith of Dayton, Ohio, Nancy Conners of Morgantown, and Mary Ann Squires of Morgantown; and his nephew with whom he made his home, James “JR” Watkins.
At his request, John will be cremated and a memorial gathering will take place at the Stewartstown Community Building at a later date and time to be determined.
