Wilma “Skeeter” Furn Tasker, 66, of Masontown, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at home with family by her side.
She was born on July 20, 1957, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late George and Kathleen (Holly) Fitchett.
Skeeter loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, her dog, Maggie, and her cat, Shiloh. She enjoyed bird watching.
Skeeter is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert A. Tasker; three daughters, Bobbi Johnson and husband Nathan of Reedsville, Leslie Radabaugh and husband Steven of Florida, and Christina Cottrell and husband Justin of Rowlesburg; grandchildren, Christian Radabaugh and wife, Cecillia, Bailey Radabaugh and wife, Ariana, Cameron Radabaugh, Gabriella Radabaugh and companion, Bryce, Justin Cottrell, Noah Johnson, Josephine Johnson, Luke Johnson, and Haylee Johnson; three great-grandsons; four brothers and one sister.
In addition to her parents, Skeeter is preceded in death by four sisters.
Friends and family may be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, from 2-4 p.m. and
6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. To honor her wishes the Field Funeral Home will provide cremation services for Skeeter.
