ELIZABETH -- Morgantown High's Grace Yan tied for third place at the WV High School Girls' State Golf Tournament at Mingo Bottom Golf Club on Tuesday.
Yan shot 7-over 79 on the day to finish in a tie for third place with Bridgeport's Audrey Kerr.
Hurricane's Savannah Hawkins won the event with a 2-under 70 and Westside's Kerri-Anne Cook was the runner-up, carding an even-par 72.
Yan's MHS teammate Kaily Kellogg tied for 10th place with a round of 85.
Also competing were two golfers from University High. Abby Kingora finished 23rd with a score of 98 and Olivia Cox shot 110 in 37th place.
