Visit the Arnettsville Community Center, 4120 Fairmont Road, on July 23 for a Sunday picnic “pull-ooza” lunch and chance to win prizes. Doors will open at 1 p.m.
Tickets are available for $10 to purchase two hot dogs, which includes coleslaw, chips, dessert and drink (iced tea, lemonade, or water).
Starting at 2 p.m., all tickets will be entered for prize drawings. Every fifth ticket drawn will receive a door prize. The last ticket drawn will receive the grand prize of an Igloo picnic cooler filled with all the picnic trimmings (plates, condiments, glasses and more).
Tickets will be available between noon-6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and noon-3 p.m. Fridays at the Community Center in the Arnettsville Public Library or call 304-278-9973 to make other arrangements. Please note that it is for a ticket to the picnic. You should select “Personal” or “Friends and Family.” If you pay online, tickets can be held at the door. There may be limited tickets available at the door but to ensure you can participate, get them in advance. There will be drawings and a 50/50 as well.
