C.B. Wilson, former associate provost for Academic Personnel at WVU, will conduct the Morgantown Municipal Band when it performs its annual Independence Day concert outside the front of the WVU Creative Arts Center at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4.
This concert marks the 33rd anniversary of the beginning of the series, which, except during the COVID pandemic, has been continuous since 1990. This year’s concert will be dedicated to the memory of Phil Faini, former dean of the College of Creative Arts.
Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and sun protection (hats, umbrellas). Parking is available in the CAC parking lot.
