He is survived by one brother, John H. Wills and wife Lois, of Halifax, Va., and their three children, John M. David was a 1981 graduate of Central Preston High School. His passion was always music. Upon graduating high school, he studied music at Fairmont State University and then decided to pursue his dream of radio as a graduate of Columbia School of Broadcasting in Pittsburgh. He was one of the voices of Preston County at WFSP radio from his teen years to the present. From part-time teenager deejay to owner and operator, he dedicated his life to keeping Preston County entertained and informed.
Besides radio, he was quite talented on the trumpet and guitar as well as vocally. He was active in the earlier years of Cornerstone Community Church of Kingwood, where he was part of the praise band. He also thoroughly enjoyed his time as a member of the Mountainaires Barbershop Chorus. His hobbies included camping and boating, where he loved playing the role of the host. He also was an avid bowler, card player and board game enthusiast. One of his proudest roles was being such a wonderful caretaker of his mother. He was always known to lend a helping hand and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at a later date.
