Donna Jean Cooper, 84, of Mount Morris, Pa., passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Uniontown Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Waynesburg, Pa. on Nov. 2, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Adeline (McCabe) Haines.
A 1956 graduate of the former Mount Morris High School, Donna had previously attended the Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Mount Morris, and later the First Baptist Church of Taylortown. She had a great fondness for all animals, and especially enjoyed looking after her dogs, cats and horses.
Surviving are her two children, Clyde E. Cooper (Donna Lee) of Clarksville, Pa. and Patricia Stewart (Tom) of Mount Morris, Pa.; two grandchildren, Thomas Stewart and Melinda M. (Cooper) Karlowski; and a sister, Laura Poe of Maidsville, W.Va.
Her husband Clyde T. Cooper, passed away on Oct. 15, 2002. Also deceased is a brother, Patrick W. Haines.
A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date, with interment in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion.
