Elise Glean Paugh, 91, of Kingwood, died Monday April 3, 2023, at Stonerise of Kingwood.
The daughter of the late Granvil and Hazel Dessie Bennett Merritt, she was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Smithville.
She is survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Paugh, and her stepdaughter, Marjorie E. Wilson.
Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday April 7, with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
