Letha Avis (Friend) Freme, 97, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023. She was born in Kingwood, on Aug. 31, 1925, and was the daughter of Clarence and Lilly Friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Freme Sr.; sisters, Virginia Fox, Myrtle Swiderski and Letitia Freme; and a brother, Harold (Abe) Friend.
Letha is survived by her children, Robert Thomas Freme Jr., of Morgantown; Gregory Freme (Carol), of Ocean Isle, N.C..; grandson, Darren Freme, of Covington, La,; Cynthia Vaughan, (John), of San Jose, Calif.; Tamberly Salucci (Frank), of Morgantown; and her sister, Ileda Cheslock, of Fairmont.
To honor her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to McCulla Funeral Home.
