
Nina L. Ellifritz Yauger, 95, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Georgia.
She was born May 18, 1927, in Tucker County, a daughter of the late Clyde Ellifritz and Dona (Cline) Ellifritz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin S. Yauger.
Nina graduated from the Morgantown Business School and held various jobs in the Morgantown community, as well as being a homemaker and spending time with her family.
Nina is survived by a son, Kent E. Yauger, of Morgantown, and two daughters: Judith A. Kerns, of Baltimore, and Donna Anderson (Bill), of Senoia, Ga.; four grandchildren, Christine Fatkin (Andy), of Perry Hall, Md., Brian Kerns (Carmen), of California, Md., Jacqueline Kerns, of Aldie, Va., and Christopher Rushford (Kelley), of Spring Hill, Tenn.; and seven great-grandchildren: Ava Rushford, Josie Fletcher, Cody Fletcher, Samuel Fatkin, Benjamin Fatkin, Stephanie Mullins (James) and Savannah Kerns.
There is one surviving daughter of Clyde and Dona (Cline) Ellifritz — Betty Cozad (Earl, deceased), of Kingwood.
Nina was also preceded in death by her brothers: Paul, Willard, Dewey and Don Ellifritz, and sisters: Gretchen Henry, Grace Hodson and Hazel Martin.
Friends may call at the Kingwood Funeral Home Chapel, 295 South Price St., Kingwood, from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, March 31. Graveside services will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mr. Craig Rotruck officiating.
