Historic Arthurdale hosts craft show Saturday

Want to get a jump on spring’s arrival next week? Then don’t miss our Cabin Fever Craft Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in Arthurdale.

Featuring over 15 local artisans and crafters with table loads of goods, ranging from woodworks to fabric arts, jewelry and baked goods, will fill historic Center Hall and beyond. Arthurdale Heritage’s permanent craft shop will also be open.

While not shopping take in demonstrations of blacksmithing and weaving or visit Arthurdale Heritage’s museum and E-15, a model house once home to original homesteaders, staffed by guides to answer questions.

Food — including homemade soups and Roger’s sloppy joes — will also be available.

Animal lovers can visit the nearby goat farm where there are lots of baby goats.

There’s no entrance fee and parking is free.
