Lola Loraine Ammons, 76, of Statler Run Road, Fairview, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the John Manchin Sr. Assisted Living Center in Farmington.
She was born Nov. 7, 1946, at Core, a daughter of the late Furman P. Brewer and Winona Loraine Moore Brewer.
Mrs. Ammons was a homemaker.
Surviving are one son and his wife, Randy Ammons and his wife Patty, of Falling Waters; one daughter and her husband, Vicky Hartley and her husband Jonathan, of Wadestown; one sister, Joy “Tuffy” Henderson, of Core; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Earl Ammons, who died on Dec. 1, 2020; one sister, Janet Sammons; and one brother, Charles Brewer.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 4-8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.
