Steve Shoulders, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at his home. He was born April 29, 1952, in Richwood, a son of the late Gwenda Mae (Hearn) Shoulders.
He retired from Mylan in 2018 after 20 years of employment and served his country in the United States Air Force. Steve was an avid WVU football fan and loved listening to Motown music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Shoulders; two sons, Steven J. Shoulders and Shawn M. Shoulders and his wife Suzan; two stepchildren, Tracy Frankwick and her husband Joel and Philip Alexander; seven grandchildren, Lexie and Stevie Shoulders, Madison and Connor Shoulders, Aubrey Alexander and Isabella and Anthony Lucchiani; one brother; and one sister.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his children, Amber Lucchiani and Isaac Alexander; and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties, 278C Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will take place following the service and a private family committal service will take place at a later date at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
