
Nellie Louise Krushansky Nels passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Nellie was born June 19, 1922in Farmington, a daughter of the late Louis Krushansky and Clara Bozinsky Krushansky, of Warsaw, Poland.
Nellie was a cook for 35 years for Monongalia County Schools and then retired to take care of her great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Nellie is survived by her daughter, Linda Solomon Orinick and Nick Orinick; grandchildren, Pamela Orinick Hunt, Angela Orinick and Jay Lattanzi, great-grandchildren, Alexandrea Orinick, Ashley and Ryan Nickelson, Daniel (Courtney) Hunt, Bailie Hunt and Jocelyn Orinick; and great-great-grandchildren: Lakyn McCormick, Raygen Nickelson, Ella Hunt and Cole Hunt and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nels; brothers, Benny B. Krushansky, Walter Krushansky, Louis Krushansky, Charles Krushansky and Henry Krushansky; and sisters, Ann Krushansky Gentile and Blanche Krushansky.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 4-8 p.m. Friday and at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
