Maureen Michelle O’Brien, 68, passed away on Feb. 18, 2023, at home after a short illness.
Maureen was a 1972 graduate of Morgantown High School and earned her degree from West Virginia University. She had worked many years in hospitality. Born in Bluefield, on Aug. 25, 1954, Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, Michael M. O’Brien and Dolores Fleming O’Brien.
Maureen is survived by her son, Eric and his partner LeeAnne; Eric’s children, Katie, Adam and Matthew; her younger sister, Dolores Ruth O’Brien; and her brother, Michael M. O’Brien. Maureen will be missed and remembered very fondly by the family and friends she loved. Arrangements are not complete.
