Helen May Mancini, 89, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at the Stonerise Healthcare Center in Morgantown. Helen was born on Sept. 2, 1933, a daughter of the late Rev. Clyde and Stella Dalton Blosser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Alfred Mancini; brothers, James Blosser, Harry Blosser and Darrell Blosser; and sisters, Marjorie Nestor and Dorothy Bonnell.
Helen is survived by her sons, James (Terri) Mancini and Brad (Melody) Mancini; brother, Gary (Bonnie) Blosser; sisters, Wanda (Jim) Mathess and Patty (George) Samsell; grandchildren, Allen (Erica) Mancini, Aubree (Nick) Brown and Braden (Taylor) Mancini; great-grandchildren, Nico Mancini, Scott Brown and Nathan Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the hard-working staff of the Stonerise Healthcare Center and Amedisys Hospice for their unending care and compassion. Honoring her wishes, Helen will be laid to rest at a private family graveside service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home.
