William Charles “Bill” Noel, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at his home.
Bill was born May 17, 1944, in Munhall, Pa., a son of the late William E. Noel and the late Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Noel.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, the late Victoria Ann Noel.
He is survived by his son, Chad (Heather) Noel; grandsons, Gavin and Aiden Noel, all of Morgantown; and his brother, Charles Barry Noel, of Dravosburg, Pa.
Bill was a graduate of Wheeling College and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked in the institutional food business for many years. He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Cheat Lake and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may join the family to honor Bill’s life and legacy at St. Luke Catholic Church, 19 Jo Glen Drive, Morgantown (Cheat Lake), from 1 p.m. until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 celebrated by Father Biju Devassy. Immediately following the funeral service, interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery, where full military honors will be accorded at the graveside.
