Frank Solomon

Frank Solomon, 67, of Solomon Road in Morgantown, unexpectedly passed away at home on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.

Frank was born Dec. 23, 1955, in Morgantown, to the late Stanley and Josephine Solomon.

He lived in Osage most of his life, graduating from University High School in 1972. Frank worked for and co-owned Solomon’s Market and Solomon Rentals until his retirement.

He was a member of Faith Church International, where his faith was strengthened and through which he built his circle of friends and family. Frank served as a greeter, welcoming everyone with his big smile. He loved to attend the events of the Iron Men ministry, where he participated in many service projects.

Frank is survived by three sisters, Karen (Thomas) Bochna, of Morgantown, Marina Solomon, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Linda Orinick, of Morgantown; one nephew, Solomon Alexander (Emily) Winans; one great-niece, Emma Josephine; and one great-nephew, Maximillian, of Spring, Texas.

Friends and family will gather at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. John Polis officiating. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
