Eleanor Mae (Alburn) Lallone, 94, of Wellsburg, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, 2022 at Anne’s Country Retreat, Wellsburg.
Eleanor was born on Aug. 22, 1928, in Wheeling. She moved to Wellsburg when she married her late husband, Peter John Lallone, who died in 2016. Eleanor was a member of St. John Evangelical Catholic Church, Wellsburg. Many will remember Eleanor for her care of her daughter growing up, always cooking and baking.
In addition to her husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Stewart.
Eleanor is survived by her dedicated and devoted daughter, Sandra Stewart and her husband, Jeffrey, of Morgantown, and a grandson, Troy Stewart.
Family and friends will be received at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, 304-737-3551, from 5 p.m. until the time of Liturgy of the Word at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, with Father Justin Golna presiding.
Interment will be held privately at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, next to her husband, Peter.
