Chestnut Ridge Church begins holiday services

Chestnut Ridge Church in the Cheat Lake area held its first of three Christmas services Thursday.

Two more will be held — at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.

The services include familiar carols, the story and message of Jesus’ birth, some special surprises, including hot cocoa and goodies, and the traditional candlelight closing to Silent Night.

Those attending are encouraged to arrive early. Anyone who cannot make it to an in-person service can watch online at theridge.church/live, the Chestnut Ridge Church app or YouTube.

There will be limited kids’ programming for children 2 and under, with prior registration. All children over 3 and middle school aged students are encouraged to attend the service with their families.

More information about the services, as well as kids programming registration, can be found at theridge.church/christmas.
