Martha Jane (Newman) Corrado, 72, of Morgantown, died Nov. 1, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. She was born March 8, 1950, in Cleveland.
Marti worked as a payroll director. She enjoyed cooking, serving her church and community, spending time with her family and friends and loving the Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Corrado; daughter, Jennifer (Paul) D’Astolfo; grandchildren, Alyssa, Amanda, Mateo, Isabel and Leo; sisters, Phyllis (Edward) Shannon, Cathy (Mack) McCoy and Janet (Michael) Coss; and her brothers, Don (Judy) Newman, Ricky Newman and Paul (Merrilou) Newman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Barbara (Irwin) Newman, and her brother, Robert Newman.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Marti’s life at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060, from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9. A funeral service and time of prayer to conclude the gathering will begin at the funeral home at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
A memorial service to honor Martha will be held at a later date at the CMA Church of Morgantown, 308 Elmhurst St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the St. Ursula Food Pantry and Outreach, 87 Pursglove Road, Pursglove, WV 26546, or to Christian Help, 219 Walnut St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
