
Milton Ray Gnegy, 75, a resident of Cape Coral, Fla. since 1980, formerly of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, in Cape Coral, Fla. He was born Jan. 13, 1947, in Morgantown, to Darrell Gnegy and Fay McDonald, now deceased.
Milton was a faithful member of Cape Christian Fellowship in Cape Coral, Fla. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. After his military service, Milton worked at Fort Martin Power Plant in West Virginia until he moved to southwest Florida. He retired on Jan. 20, 2020, from Lee Health after 33 years of dedication.
He is survived by six loving children, Milton Hauser (Wanda), of Maryland, Jason McGillicuddy (Teresa), of Cape Coral, Fla., Tiffany Gnegy, of Virginia, Jared McGillicuddy (Christy), of North Fort Myers, Fla., Tamra McGillicuddy (Michael Martinez), of Cape Coral, Fla., and Amber McGillicuddy (Ryan Revels), of Palmetto, Fla.; mother-in-law, Nancy Poland, of Fort Myers, Fla.; sister-in-law, Ann Marie Parrack, of West Virginia; 19 grandchildren: Kayla Pierce, Beau Ferguson, Skyler McGillicuddy, Gavin Earhart, David, Aaliyah, Aliviyah, Nathan Martin, Connor Silva-McGillicuddy, Mathias Wilson, Bailey Anya Revels, Sydney, Dakota, Katie, Justin Bradford, Coral, Chris and Caitlin Hauser; as well as six great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Liam, Brayden Pierce, Brayden Martin, Jamie Thelen and Grady Williamson.
Milton was very proud of his service and his country. He was very patriotic throughout his house and everything he wore. Milton was known for going to garage sales every weekend. He was a very detailed man and prepared his map the night before. If he knew you were looking for something specific, he would call you immediately and let you know (and you better get there fast). He was very proud to show everyone his great finds. Milton was known for his practical jokes and pranks, especially with his work family.
Milton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debbie Gnegy; a son, Scott Gnegy; and a brother, Earl Parrack.
Memorial Services will be held at Cape Christian, 2110 Chiquita Blvd. South, Cape Coral, FL 33991, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating.
