Elizabeth Wolfe

“Grief is the price we pay for Love”

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Family Matriarch, Elizabeth “Marlene” (Siler) Wolfe, 83, of Mount Morris, Pa. She left her earthly body on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at her home surrounded by her two kids, George Franklin and Elizabeth, and daughter-in-law, Amanda. She was born at home in Mount Morris, Pa. on Aug. 14, 1939, to the late Carl E Siler and Mary Louise Siler (Scott).

After high school, she went to business college and worked for First National Bank and Sterling Faucet.

She married George F. Wolfe on Oct. 16,1965. Her most precious accomplishment was having kids and her family, which she devoted her entire life to and took care of till the day she passed. She was the most caring person you would meet and loved giving gifts to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Louise Siler; husband, George F. Wolfe and mother-in-law, Jessie E. Wolfe.

Left to cherish her memories are two sisters, Stephanie Siler, of Morgantown, and Beverley Kovach and brother-in-law William Kovach, of Ohio; her three kids, George Franklin, Elizabeth and her daughter-in-law, Amanda, that was more a daughter to her than anything; her two grandchildren, Joshua and Chloe; many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; and two special fur babies, Leo and Cooper. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank Mon Health Primary Care in Core, Amedisys Home Health and Hospice of Masontown, Pa. for their help during this challenging time, Ericka and Francie of Home Health and Ericka, Hope, Melissa and Bea of Hospice.

Elizabeth’s wishes were for no public services to be held. McCulla Funeral Home assisted the family with a private service, and she was entombed with her husband at Beverly Hills Mausoleum.
