
Marshall Vernon Lemasters, 79, of Morgantown, passed away Monday Oct. 17, 2022, at his second home at Big Bear Lake. He was born Jan. 6, 1943, in Morgantown, a son of the late Marshall Dale Lemasters and Katie Belle Howell Lemasters.
Marshall had been employed as a coal miner. He was the longest lot owner at Big Bear Lake at 50 years. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing and was also a member of the Mount Morris Sportsman’s Club.
Marshall is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Lemasters, of Morgantown, Jason (Paula) Lemasters, of Morgantown, and Marty Kenyon; sisters, Joyce (Arthur) Bliss, of Granville, and Patricia (Donald) Chernok, of Florida; brother, Gary (Kay) Lemasters, of Morgantown; grandchildren, Andrew, Jake, Dylan, Skylar and Jalie Lemasters and Randall Kenyon; and great-grandchildren, Tucker Lemasters and Andrew Lemasters Jr.
Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lemasters and one granddaughter Carrie Kenyon.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday with Pastor Nathaniel Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
