
Barry Wayne Snider, 53, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born Aug. 18, 1969, a son of Jerry Snider and Mary Simonetti Snider, of Cheat Lake. He was a graduate of University High School and worked construction in the family business.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Greg Snider, of Bruceton Mills, and Tim Snider (Sue), of Morgantown; and fiancé, Cindy Smith, whom he considered the love of his life. He was also very fond of her mother; Diane Barnett, her children, Zack Smith and Derick Barnett; her grandchildren, Michell Smith, Owen Smith and Noah Smith; aunts, Libby Snider, Patty Manning, Sue Walker and Mary Alice Feather; uncles, Frank Snider and Fred Snider (Carol); and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Snider; grandparents, John and Mary Snider and Bruno and Pauline Simonetti; and aunts and uncles, Jimmy Manning, Don Feathers, Sam Simonetti, Thelma and Norman Shaffer, Johnny Snider, Doug Snider, Harold Snider, Jess Walker, Margaret Owens, Grace Watts and Fred Watts.
Visitation will be at Dering-Henson Funeral Home, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jason Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Union Cemetery, Morgantown.
