Wilma I. “Susie” Yost, 96, formerly of Jakes Run died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born Aug. 30, 1926, at Jakes Run, a daughter of the late Willie Clark Yost and Rosezalia Fetty Yost.
Miss Yost was a homemaker and formerly attended the Jakes Run United Methodist Church.
Susie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Nessie Eddy, with whom she lived for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie Arnold Yost and William Yost Jr.; two sisters, Alta Mae Eddy and Wavelene Rose; and a special sister-in-law and companion, Nancy Yost.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday. Interment will follow in the Eddy Chapel Cemetery.
