Gunner Brummage

Gunner Owen Brummage, 22, of Daybrook, died Aug. 22, 2022.

He was born July 7, 2000, in Morgantown, a son of Daniel Scott Brummage and Kimberly Sue Williams Brummage.

Gunner was a 2018 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School. During his high school years, he was very active in different sports and was an accomplished athlete.

Immediately following his high school graduation, he went straight in the United States Army. In fact, at the time, he went in when he was just 17 years old.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a son, Walker Brummage; two sisters, MaCall Brenna Brummage and Scarlet Brummage; two brothers, Chantz Brummage and Cannon Brummage; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service was held at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.

The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville was in charge of arrangements.
