On Friday Sept. 2, 2022, Barbara “Barbie” Sue Thomas, 87, loving mother of four, passed away.
Barbara served on the ENT for several years. She was involved in many fundraisers for children. She loved people, playing slots, bingo and dancing. In her last days, she gave her life to the Lord.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Patty Nester; sister-in-law, Francis Gower; her children, Vaun and Jeff Thomas, Ronald and Brenda Thomas, Cindy and Donnie Cutlip and Sandy and Trent Trickett; four grandchildren, David, Ronnie, Danyelle and Jessica.; her seven great-grandchildren, Xavior, Brantley, Audrianna, Robert, Zelda, Easton and Abel.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Woodrow Thomas of 55 years, her sister, Betty Barlow, her two brothers, Roy Gower and John D. Gower, and her loving granddaughter, Brittany Thomas.
There will be a grave site ceremony at Mount View United Methodist Church on Number 4 Hill, Tunnelton, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 6, with pastor Josh Burke Officiating.
