James “Jim” Edward Larew Sr., 78, of Newburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 16, 1944, in Newburg, son of the late Ronald “Pete” Ray and Virginia Mae “Adams” Larew.
Jim is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean “Brown” Larew; three children, James “Eddie” Larew Jr. and Beverly, Melissa “Missy” Bowmar and Blain and Crystal Nestor and Allen, all of Newburg.
Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, from
2-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, and at the York Run Church, 1601 Herm Criss Road Tunnelton, from
11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon on Friday, Aug. 12, with the Pastor Richard Bolyard officiating. Interment will follow at Blackwood Cemetery.
