Nancy Lee Austin Heinze, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Friday morning, July 29, 2022, at her son’s home in Hilton Head, S.C.
Born Nov. 12, 1944, in Morgantown, Nancy was a daughter of the late Theodore and Garnet Rhoades Austin.
Survivors include her children, Dale Allen Heinze and Landon Heinze and his wife Christy; her stepchildren, Terry Heinze, Kimberly Palumbo, Lisa Nisperly and Robin Layton; several grandchildren, brother, Terry and Wilbert Austin; sisters, Marion Keener, Lilly Matthews and Lois Tinney; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Heinze; stepchildren, Bobby Heinze and Sharon Seaman; brother, Tom Rhoades, William Austin, Charles Austin and Junior Austin; sisters, Judith Austin and Linda Grimes; her very special companion and friend, Robert Seaman; and all of her special four-legged babies.
Smith Funeral & Cremation Care of Westover/Morgantown is providing care and guidance to her family. Friends are invited to her visitation at Nicholson Chapel Church, 1326 Summers School Road, Morgantown, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5 and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.. on Saturday, Aug 6. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
