Phillip Schaffer, 79, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Phillip was born July 3, 1942, in Leola, S.D., a son of the late Philip Schaffer Sr. and Mary Swartz Schaffer.
Phillip was a retired shipping foreman at Davis-Lynch Glass and was a United States Navy
veteran.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Hershman; two daughters, Kimberly Schaffer, of Philippi, and LaDonna Marie Britton, of Kingwood; grandchildren, Roberta, Nikki, Chelsie and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Hannah and Jordy; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service on Thursday with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Entombment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy honor guard and the Westover/Morgantown VFW.
