Lola B. Dresman, 86, of Morgantown, and formerly of Point Marion, Pa. and Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at her residence, following a brief illness. Born in Pursglove on Oct. 12, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Bernice (Czaja) Skicki, who were both natives of Poland, and she was extremely proud of her heritage.
She graduated from University High School in 1953 and worked as a secretary for Shell Oil in Chicago for 12 years. She then transferred to Bayer Corporation in Pittsburgh for the remaining 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Dresman, on May 3, 2005. Surviving are three stepchildren and grandchildren from Fran Butash, Jan Harvey and J.F. Dresman; all of Point Marion, Pa. Additionally, she has many nieces and nephews, including Nancy King Dunn, of Morgantown.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa.
