Main Street Morgantown welcomes new cereal bar

There’s a new bar downtown, but very different from its alcohol-serving neighbors.

Main Street Morgantown welcomed the Day and Night Cereal Bar, 469 High St.

The bar has planned three days of grand-opening activities.

A ribbon-cutting will take place at 1 p.m. today.

Saturday will feature giveaways and a $5 Happy Hour from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., when everything will
be $5.

Sunday will celebrate moms with Mother’s Day discounts.

Day and Night Cereal Bar co-owners Ray Booker and Shawny Badger will offer several different shakes and bowls. Two of their favorite options are Mucha Lucha — Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal with whipped cream topped with churro cereal and buttery cinnamon roll sprinkle with a milk option; and Unicorn Breath — fruity Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, whipped cream and strawberry drizzle with milk option.

They will also have a mural unveiling by artist Monty Morris Jr.
