Catherine “Cathy” Marie (Myers) Cassady, 62, of Tunnelton, passed away on Nov. 24, 2021. She was born on Oct. 1, 1959, in Grafton, daughter of Lula Belle “Phillips” Myers, of Fellowsville, and the late Clifford “Skip” Myers.
Cathy graduated from Newburg High School Class of 1977. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing on her computer, but most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Lantz Cassady Jr.; one daughter, Geena Marie Cassady, of Tunnelton; one stepdaughter, Laurel Virginia Owens; one grandson, Wade Lantz Cassady; two step-grandsons, Jasen Nice and Hunter Sherwood; three brothers, Steven Myers and Brenda, of Kingwood, Kevin Myers and Brenda, of Thornton, and Brian Myers and Joyce, of Gladesville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and two great-great-nephews. In addition to her father, Cathy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry and Goldie Myers; and maternal grandparents, Rachael and Kenneth Phillips.
Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home, from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, with Pastor Eddie Martin officiating.
