COVID- 19 is not going away any time soon. Medical professionals are stressing the importance of continuing to protect yourself and your loved ones. One way to do this is to get your vaccines and booster shot. West Virginia Governor Jim Justice has announced a program to make this easier for seniors around West Virginia.
From now until the end of the year, senior centers will offer booster clinics. Those 50 or older who received a booster shot from Dec. 7-31 will receive a $50 prepaid VISA card.
Senior Monongalians understands the importance of having the COVID-19 vaccine and subsequent boosters. Today, a vaccine and booster clinic will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Senior Monongalians, at 5000 Green Bag Road, Mountaineer Mall, under a red awning.
