William Anthony Knotts, 73, of Kingwood, died on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center.
He was born on Jan. 18, 1948, in Terra Alta, a son of the late Charles Leslie and Ruth Elizabeth Hemrick Knotts
William was a husband, father, grandfather and brother, whom loved his family.
He is survived by her wife of 32 years, Sandra Roy Knotts; three sons, Rick Knotts, of North Carolina, Brian Knotts and wife Beth, of South Carolina, and Donnie Roy, of Rowlesburg; three daughters, Elizabeth Scott and husband George, of Williamson, Mary Jennings and husband, Nathan, of Fellowsville, and Kimberly Cramer and husband Glenn, of Rowlesburg; three brothers, John Knotts, of Ohio, Charles "Chuck" Knotts, of Grafton, and Joseph Knotts, of Fellowsville; five sisters, Vicki Long and Charlene Long, both of Tunnelton, Donna Hawkins, of Newburg, Penny Bolyard, of Terra Alta, and Terina Knotts, of Canton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Hailiee, Tyler, Levi, Austin, Taylor, Sayer, Kaydence, Freedom and Sara; and one great-grandchild, Ricky Joe Slone III.
