Sandra A. “Sandy” Huggins, 64, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday Oct. 13, 2021, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 9, 1957, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late George and Miriam Wade Steele.
Sandy worked for Mylan Pharmaceuticals and later at WVU Health Sciences Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching wrestling, Mountaineer and Steelers football and playing bingo.
She is survived by her sons, David Huggins Jr. and Brian Huggins, of Morgantown; sisters, Vicky Parrotta and husband Joseph “Co Co,” of Maidsville, Helen Walls, of Pursglove, and Terry Steele, of Fairmont; sister-in-law, Marcie Steele, of Maidsville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Steele and Dennis Steele; and a sister-in-law, Karen Steele.
The family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will follow.
