Puppy Kindergarten

Class teaches pets behavioral basics

Newsroom@DominionPost.com

The Clever Canine, on  Point Marion Road,  helps participants teach the latest furry additions to their families behavioral basics with its Puppy Kindergarten course.

The six-week group class works on building the animal-human bond for puppies 6-24 weeks.

Among the  topics covered are  impulse control, socialization, house and crate training, and beginning leash work.

Although in the past there has been direct puppy play allowed, with current restrictions, there will be no free play until further notice. Mask are required. If state guidelines change and do not allow the class to meet in person, the course  will be completed through an online platform.

The Clever Canine is at 951 Point Marion Road. To learn about fees and to sign up, visit   the page on Facebook or text Kris Snider at 304-290-0857 or email ksniderrvt@gmail.com.
