Terra Café celebrates 10-year anniversary

MORGANTOWN — Terra Café is celebrating its 10-year anniversary on Wednesday, September 22.

To celebrate the cafe’s anniversary, it will have giveaways throughout the week on its Facebook and Instagram pages. Some of the giveaways will include a $10 gift card and a cookie and coffee.

On Friday, September 24, Terra Café will host a celebration at the restaurant with live music and special food options.

Live music will be from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., with performances by Nae Paugh and Andy Tuck.

“We wanted to have a little party to celebrate the anniversary,” said Tara Trukovich, general manager.

For the past 10 years, Terra Café has grown with the community and supported local farmers, breweries, coffee dispensaries and artists.

“We try to keep the heartbeat of Morgantown on a community level,” said Head Chef Lauren Hartman. “We are very interested in supporting our community by fundraising, advocating and welcoming every walk of life to our establishment.”

The cafe offers something for everyone, from fresh salads, sandwiches, coffee and smoothies to house-made soups, pastries, cakes and cupcakes.

Terra Café lives by its mantra that everything is fresh, local and made from scratch.

“Every day we have the ability to change it up and try to stay on-trend,” said Hartman. “Over the years we’ve been able to maintain the same quality of food that was put out the door eight years ago. We have not lost our sense of quality and integrity.”

Terra Café, located at 425 Industrial Ave., is open from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Wednesday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
