Mark Steven Johnson, 59, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at his residence after a long illness.
Born Feb. 28, 1962, in Morgantown, Mark was a son of the late Harry and Alice Rush Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years. Lisa Ann Spadafore Johnson; three children, Zachary and Jordan Spadafore and Steven Boyles, all of Morgantown; three granddaughters, Brookelynn Spadafore, at home, Mariana Spadafore, of Martinsburg, and Faith Boyles, of Morgantown; two brothers, Charles Johnson, of Florida, and Keith Johnson and spouse Brenda, of Kentucky; a sister, Pam Johnson, of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Cody Johnson; and his siblings, John Johnson, Paul David Johnson, Terry Johnson, Robert Johnson, Penny Johnson, and Marylou Brown.
Mark loved working on cars, was an avid camper and cherished spending time with his grandchildren — particularly Brookelynn.
Mark has been cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
