Sunday Night Lights

Newsroom@DominionPost.com

The ongoing pandemic has robbed WVU students of  many in-person milestones, but the classes of 2024 and 2025 now have at least one keepsake that COVID didn’t take.

The university held  Sunday Night Lights  Aug. 15; and a rescheduled  Monday Night Lights  Sunday (inclement weather  caused the  original Aug. 16 date to be pushed back) to allow  freshman and sophomores the chance to take class photos, in addition to other activities meant to welcome Mountaineers.

The photos were taken on  Mountaineer Field in Milan Puskar Stadium. Attendees were also able to watch the Pride of West Virginia perform its pregame show, listen to speakers such as WVU President Gordon Gee and WVU Mens’ Basketball Coach Bob Huggins, hang out with friends and  receive  official class T-shirts.
