Artinnes "Ray" Martin, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born May 22, 1952, in Sutton, he was a son of the late Geneva Barnette Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Glenda Danser Martin; two children, Artina Ann Martin and Artinnes Ray Martin Jr.; his grandchildren, Kenny, Amanda, Brandon, Candice, Katlynn Mae, Camara and Timothy; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Neva Irene Holmes and Eva Jane George; one brother, Rodney Dean Martin; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; a special nephew, Jason Boyles, who worked with him at the Dominion Post and helped him through his illness; and his furbabies, Ringo and Bubba.
At his request and following a private family visitation, Ray will been cremated and no public services will be scheduled.
Smith Funeral & Cremation Care of Westover/Morgantown is providing care and guidance to the family.
